Glen Dale Murray, 87, of Farmington, New Mexico, passed away on April 24, 2024, in Farmington, New Mexico. Glen was born on May 7, 1936, to parents Angie Loraine and Dale Gui Murray on his grandparent’s farm in Marshall County, Kansas. He was the oldest of 14 children. He attended school in Summerfield, Kansas, where he and his siblings would often pile on one horse and ride to school. After graduation, Glen married his former spouse, Virginia. Together they had five amazing children. Glen served in the Air Force, was an ordained minister, and became a skilled entrepreneur. In 1981 he married his wife, Leslie. On May 29th they would have been married 43 years. Together they raised Leslie’s daughter and had many incredible adventures. Approximately 5 years ago, Johanna became part of the Murray family as Glen’s caregiver. Glen loved sweets, westerns, great conversations, but most importantly, he loved Jesus. The family is comforted by the knowledge that he is now in the loving arms of his Lord and Savior. Glen is preceded in death by his Parents Angie Lorine and Dale Gui Murray, brothers Wayne Murray, Ralph Murray, William Murray, Lawrence Murray, & Steve Murray, sisters Marilyn Murray & Lois Wehls, Grandchildren Dani McGehee, Jared Kennedy, and Dawn Derwin.

Glen is survived by his Wife Leslie Ann Murray, his Children Douglas Murray (Waunita), Dale Murray (Lee Ann), Doniese Roberts (Dean), Darrel Murray (Roni), Dana McGehee (John), and Kriston Prince (Shirden), brother Gene Murray, sisters: Shirley Capps, Clarabelle Frahm, Violet Howat, Wanda Edward, and Linda Braddock, Grandchildren: Deanna Murray, Daniel Murray, Andy Murray, Scott Murray, Dustin Murray, Jessica Walling, Darrin Roberts, Devin Murray, Dasha Murray, Dray Murray, Dakota Murray, Delaney McGehee, Donovan McGehee, and Ilyana Prince, as well as 20 Great Grandchildren and 6 Great Great Grandchildren. He Family will host a visitation on Thursday, May 2, 2024, from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the Farmington Funeral Home, 2111 W. Apache St, Farmington, NM. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, May 3, 2024, at 1:00pm at Crossroads Community Church, Farmington, NM, Officiated by Rev. David West & Rev. Dean Roberts. Internment will follow at 2:30pm at Greenlawn Cemetery, Farmington, NM. The Family will host a reception at Crossroads Community Church following internment.
