Neon Desert Music Fest fans want 2020 lineup: Kevin Gates, Jessie Reyez say they'll play
Maria Cortes GonzalezInquisitive minds on Twitter are asking about who will be on the Neon Desert 2020 lineup.
So far, organizers of the annual music festival, which will celebrate 10 years this year, are mum. The festival takes place during Memorial Day weekend in the heart of Downtown.
Fortunately, a few artists have started to promote their tours, including stops in El Paso, as part of Neon Desert.
Multiplatinum recording artist Kevin Gates announced his North American tour dates for his I'm Him Part 2 Tour, which includes a May 23 El Paso stop.
The prolific rapper currently is promoting one of his most personal tracks, "Dreka," named for his wife, manager and business partner.
Another recent announcement comes from Jessie Reyez, an upcoming Colombian singer/songwriter from Canada. Her 2017 EP, "Kiddo," led to four nominations at the 2018 Juno Awards (Canada's music awards), winning Breakthrough Artist.
She is embarking on her Before Love Came to Kill Us tour this spring. Following her debut at Coachella, Reyez will perform at Neon Desert on May 24, according to her Twitter account.
